The GPF supports the SOLIDAR appeal on HaitiSolidarity Fund
The GPF, shocked by the recent catastrophic events in Haiti, expresses it full support for all the victims of this human tragedy as well as their families.
Fate has once again dealt a cruel blow to one of the poorest and most disadvantaged countries in the world. The earthquake on Tuesday has left a death toll of tens of thousands with as many as three million people affected. Buildings and infrastructure are affected and basic services are in short supply. In the face of this, a major relief effort is needed immediately and the support of the international community is essential to help the country get back on its feet and ensure a dignified and decent life for its inhabitants.
This is why the GPF is calling on all progressive and other forces to show their support by donating to the Solidarity fund set up by the NGO- SOLIDAR.
